THE PLACES WE ARE (2020)

What does it take to make a home? This elusive concept is one that has been explored by artists throughout time; yet, we still find ourselves looking to discover its meaning for each of us individually. The Places We Are is a collection of stories, songs, and reflections about our connection with and quest for the feeling that is home. Audience Advisory: you might catch some feelings.

I had the great pleasure of facilitating a devised creation process with the third year students in the University of Toronto Mississauga/Sheridan College combined Theatre and Performance Studies program. These students were inquisitive and brave in their work, and we were able to create something incredibly powerful together.
