SONGS I SHOULD’VE NEVER SUNG:
ROB’S 1st CABARET (2017)

Writer and Performer
120 Diner
November 2017

In this intimate evening, Rob Kempson shares embarrassing foibles and follies of a would-be musical theatre performer who has sung a lot of wrong songs. Featuring special guests and a few special surprises.

I have wanted to do a cabaret for years, but I’ve always been too busy (or too scared). So when Derrick Chua suggested I do one (as a bit of a joke), I decided that it was as good a time as ever. Searching through my catalogue for all of the songs that I’ve sung that were terrible ideas for one reason or another was very fun. It was a warm room and I loved/hated reliving all of those memories. I think it won’t be my last cabaret either…
