Young Maggie Sinclair is a free spirited flowerchild. Pierre Trudeau is nearing 50, urbane, charismatic, and the future Prime Minister of Canada. When this unlikely pair finds one another, they fall in love, and dominate the international media for the next decade. This Canadian classic is a tour de force one-woman play about the pressures of power and fame under the media spotlight.

After our success with this show the previous summer at the Thousand Islands Playhouse, Kaitlyn and I wanted to create a version to share with Toronto audiences. So we set to work on crafting an intimate version of the piece in the round. Revisiting this piece from that angle gave us even more to work with, and Linda’s powerful words kept revealing more and more.
