Explicit seeks to explore the space between the public and private, fantasy and reality, and the history written and unwritten. An ensemble of 8 queer-identified men will perform found text and creative text pulled from the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives. We will draw connections between the representation of queer culture throughout history in the mainstream media, and that representation in text-based erotica of the same time.
