The classic musical got an extreme makeover with Joey Tremblay at the helm. For me, this was an absolute dream show. We had an incredible (and Dora Award winning!) cast, and I got to meet the incredibly Joey Tremblay and Dayna Tekatch. Both made me feel welcome and appreciated, and I so appreciated Joey’s innovative and imaginative take on this classic musical. It was a unique experience to feel like a true collaborator in the role of Assistant Director. Joey is an inspiring artist, and working with him was an incredible experience. With a great creative team like this, I hope to work with most of these folks again soon.
