Created by Kevin Michael Shea, the TONIC is a theatrical experiment. Taking inspiration from, among other things, the work of the Neo-Futurists in Chicago and hip-hop mix-tapes and all the underground theatres of the world, we put together a night of short, finished theatre pieces that we commissioned from a variety of artists. Each play was about 5 minutes long, and all were performed with a small ensemble.
