This community arts-based piece was commissioned and created in celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Humber Valley United Church, located in Etobicoke. I assembled a multigenerational group of community members aged 9 to 70, and we created the piece out of a series of interviews, research items, and personal writing. The final performance was well-attended, and was a true celebration of the church—its community rather than the bricks and mortar.
